The changes to this defined term are effective from 23:00 on 31/12/2020. means a firm with a Part 4A permission to effect contracts of insurance or carry out contracts of insurance, other than: (1) a UK Solvency II firm; (2) a third country branch undertaking; or (3) where the firm has the permission by reason only of the operation of the EEA Passport Rights (Amendment etc., and Transitional Provisions) (EU Exit) Regulations 2018. |
