Application and Definitions

Unless otherwise stated, this Part applies to a BRRD undertaking.

In this Part, the following definitions shall apply:
means a competent authority responsible for the exercise of supervision on a consolidated basis of:
- (1) a UK parent institution; or
- (2) institutions controlled by a UK parent financial holding company or a UK parent mixed financial holding company.
means a document containing the information necessary to draw up and implement a group resolution plan.
means a plan for the resolution of a group drawn up in accordance with Article 40 and Schedule 2 of The Bank Recovery and Resolution (No 2) Order 2014 (2014/3348).
means a resolution plan for a firm drawn up by the Bank of England in accordance with Article 37 of The Bank Recovery and Resolution (No. 2) Order 2014.
